3. Dogs, training services, and written agreements
- Descriptions of dogs, training levels, and services on the Site are general. The specific dog, price, health records, training level, delivery terms, and any warranty are set out in a separate written agreement signed by you and Hearthward K9 before payment.
- If the written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the written agreement controls.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change until an agreement is signed.
- Training outcomes depend on the individual dog, the handler, and continued practice. No trainer can guarantee how any dog will behave in every situation.

4. Owner responsibility and safety
A protection-trained dog must be handled responsibly. After transfer, the owner is responsible for the dog’s care, containment, licensing, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws, and for following the handling and maintenance guidance we provide. Never use a dog to threaten or harm anyone except as permitted by law in genuine self-defense.
5. Acceptable use of the Site
- Do not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any data.
- Do not upload or transmit malware or interfere with the Site’s operation.
- Do not scrape or copy Site content for republication.
6. Intellectual property
The Site’s text, photos, logos, and design belong to Hearthward K9 or its licensors and are protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages, but you may not copy or republish content without written permission.
